#DeacsInSpain: Men's Soccer Visits Spain - Day 1

About the trip: From March 4 through March 13, Wake Forest men's soccer will travel through Spain over spring break, getting the adventure of a lifetime while being fully immersed in the Spanish soccer scene. During its time in Spain, the Demon Deacons will have the chance to see three professional soccer games and players, including Real Madrid C.F. with Christiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and many other of the sport's greats, before going to Barcelona to see F.C. Barcelona, Lionel Messi and others. At the same time, the team will get a crash course education in Spanish history and culture while touring each city extensively. To cap it off, the Deacs will have the chance to play three matches against trialist teams from Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and UE Cornella.
Day 1, Saturday March 5
After landing in Spain on Saturday morning, the Deacs went to Bernabeu Stadium to watch Real Madrid C.F. take on Celta before having a team dinner later in the night.
