Deacs to Hold Free Springfest Clinic April 15

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- To kick off Wake Forest men's soccer's Springfest weekend, the Demon Deacons' players and coaching staff is set to hold a free clinic at Spry Stadium on Friday, April 15, from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30.
The clinic is open to kids ages 4 to 14. The clinic will be held one day before Wake Forest takes on VCU on April 16 at 7 p.m.
Saturday's game against VCU marks the final spring game of the year for the Deacs. As the main even for Springfest, the day also features an auction with Wake Forest jerseys and jerseys of former Demon Deacons now in the pros, among other items up for bid. It also features a pregame fair with opportunities to mingle with current players and postgame autographs for all fans in attendance.
Tickets to the game cost $6 for general admission, $3 for groups of 10 or more and $3 for Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill tickets. They can be purchased today by visiting WakeForestSports.com/Tickets, by visiting Bridger Field House between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by calling (336) 758-3322, extension 2. All proceeds from Springfest will go to the men's soccer program as it continues its trek for national championships.
This spring, Wake Forest has outscored its opponent 5-0 in three games against Virginia Tech, UNCG and Kentucky.
