Wake Forest Ready for ACC Football Kickoff

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- As the Demon Deacons prepare for their Thursday, Sept. 1, season-opener against Tulane, head coach Dave Clawson, offensive lineman Tyler Hayworth, and linebacker Marquel Lee head to Charlotte for the 2016 ACC Football Kickoff on Friday, July 22. The 2016 Kickoff began on Thursday with the Coastal Division schools while Wake Forest and the rest of the Atlantic Division wrap up the two-day Kickoff at the Westin in downtown Charlotte on Friday.
Coverage of the second day of the ACC Kickoff will be available on ESPN3 and theACC.com beginning at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. Clawson, Hayworth, and Lee will appear for their press conference from approximately 1:15-1:45 p.m. Clawson will also appear live on the David Glenn Show, which airs from 12-3 p.m.

Following the conclusion of the ACC Kickoff, the 2016 Preseason Media Poll will be announced on Monday, July 25, and the 2016 Preseason All-ACC Team will be unveiled on Wednesday, July 27.
