The Dukes finished the 2015 season with a 14-7-2 mark, taking down the top two seeds in the Colonial Athletic Association to win the league tournament. Duke beat JMU in the NCAA Tournament, 5-0.
Wake Forest and Coastal Carolina have never met in the regular season. The Deacs and Chanticleers played an exhibition contest before the 2014 season, with Wake Forest winning 4-0. Last year, CCU finished with a 12-7-1 mark, but was eliminated in the Big South Tournament semifinals.
