WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Following the Wake Forest football's 24-14 victory over Duke this past Saturday, tickets are still available for this Saturday's contest against Delaware. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at BB&T Field.
Tickets start as low as $10 for the Deacs' contest against the Blue Hens, the first meeting between the two schools in 84 years. Wake Forest is looking to move to 3-0 to open the season for the first time since 2008.
Saturday will also mark the induction of three individuals into the Wake Forest Athletics Hall of Fame, as Ryan Plackemeier, Jamie D'Antona, and Dr. Ed Wilson will be recognized during halftime. Plackemeier was a consensus All-American on the Wake Forest football team and was named the Ray Guy Award winner in 2005, presented annually to the nation's top collegiate punter. D'Antonoa, a member of the Demon Deacon baseball team, earned ACC Player of the Year honors in 2003 and was named the National Freshman of the Year in 2001. Wilson, who was the long-time Faculty Athletics Representative for Wake Forest, also served as the president of the ACC.
