Deacs Look To Push Streak To Three
Wake Forest looks to win its third-straight game in ACC play when the Demon Deacons play host to Boston College on Thursday, Jan. 26.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. The first 75 fans in attendance will receive a free rally towel.
Last Time Out
Milan Quinn forced overtime with a free throw with 2.1 seconds left and the Demon Deacons outscored Georgia Tech in the overtime period 7-2 en route to a 70-65 victory on Sunday, Jan. 22.
Quinn recorded her second double-double in the week as she tallied 11 points and 11 rebounds, including five offensive boards.
The senior was one of four Deacs in double figures, as Elisa Penna (18), Ariel Stephenson (17) and Amber Campbell (11) all helped lead the Demon Deacons to victory. Alex Sharp, who ended the day with eight points, joined Quinn in the double-digit rebound category, matching Quinn's total of 11.
Penna, Campbell and Alex Sharp played all 45 minutes in the game while Stephenson played all but one minute of Sunday's contest.
Scouting The Eagles
Boston College is 8-12 overall and 1-6 in ACC play. After defeating Clemson to open league play, the Eagles have lost six-straight entering Thursday's contest.
Mariella Fasoula and Kelly Hughes lead Boston College in scoring, as Fasoula averages 15.9 points per game and Hughes adds 12.7 per contest.
Fasoula also serves as the top rebounder for the Eagles, bringing in 7.7 rebounds per game.
Georgia Pineau and Martina Mosetti run the offense, dishing out a team-best 61 and 58 assists, respectively.
Erik Johnson is in his fifth season at the helm of the Eagles and has compiled a 60-83 during his tenure at BC.

The Demon Deacons hit the road to take on Duke in an in-state rivalry game on Sunday, Jan. 29.
