Deacs Take Winninig Streak to Blue Devils
• Wake Forest, in the middle of a three-game winning streak, travels in-state to take on Duke on Sunday, Jan. 29. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.
• Sunday's game will be broadcast on RSN. Mike Hogewood and Chelsea Shine will have the call.
•The last time Wake Forest was above .500 in conference play this late in a season was during the 2009-10 season. The Deacs were 7-6 on Feb. 28, 2010, prior to a game against Clemson to close out ACC play.
Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons won their third consecutive ACC game on Thursday, Jan. 26, with a 71-55 victory over Boston College.
• Four Deacs were in double figures, led by Amber Campbell's 19 points. Alex Sharp added a career-best 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting and fell one rebound shy of a double-double with 9 boards. Elisa Penna and Milan Quinn each added 14 points for Wake Forest.
• The Deacs led for a total of 39 minutes and 24 seconds of Thursday's game.
Scouting The Blue Devils
• Duke enters Sunday's contest 17-4 overall and 5-3 in ACC play.
• The Blue Devils are ranked 14th in the AP Top 25 and 15th in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
• Lexie Brown and Rebecca Greenwalt lead the Duke offense, averaging 17.7 and 16.4 points per game, respectively. Greenwalt also leads the rebounding effort with 6.2 boards per contest.
• The Blue Devils are coached by Joanna McCallie, who is in her ninth season at the helm of the program. Over her 24 years of coaching, McCallie has built a career record of 578-217.
• Last time out, Duke dropped a 62-58 decision at No. 8/9 Notre Dame on Jan. 29.
Next Time Out
• The Demon Deacons return home for a pair of ACC home games. First on the slate is a Thursday evening tip against Miami on Feb. 2.
