The Matchup
• No. 2-ranked Wake Forest plays its final non-conference game of the regular season, traveling to area-rival Elon for a 7 p.m. game on Tuesday.

Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons improved to 6-0-0 in ACC play for the first time in program history by beating Virginia Tech, 3-0.
• Wake Forest scored all three of its goals in the second half. Jon Bakero recorded his second-straight multi-goal game, while Ema Twumasi added a goal and two assists.
• With the victory, Wake Forest clinched an opening-round bye in the ACC Tournament, and will host an ACC Quarterfinal game on Nov. 5. The Deacs are a point away from locking up a share of their third-straight ACC Atlantic Division title.
• The Deacons held their annual Genna Wiley Memorial Game, wearing and auctioning off pink jerseys to raise nearly $3,500 to fight breast cancer. Genna was the wife of former athletic trainer Steve Wiley, and passed away less than a week after the Deacs won the 2007 national title following a three-year fight with breast cancer.

Wake Forest Storylines
• The Demon Deacons have one of the most prolific offenses in the nation to date this season. Wake Forest ranks atop the nation with 44 goals, 140 points, 52 assists, and 8.5 shots on goal per game.
• Last year, the Deacs finished with 36 goals scored in 25 games. Wake Forest surpassed that total in 13 games this year.
• Six Demon Deacons have already totaled at least 10 points after four did so all last year: Jon Bakero (34 pts - 11g, 12a), Ema Twumsai (20 pts - 8g, 4a), Luis Argudo (19 pts - 7g, 5a), Brandon Servania (12 pts - 2g, 8a), Omir Fernandez (10 pts - 3g, 4a) Steven Echevarria (10 pts - 4g, 2a). Bakero leads the nation in points and assists, ranking fourth in goals.
• Bakero was picked as one of 10 finalists for the Senior CLASS Award. Jacori Hayes won the national honor in 2016.
• Servania and Mark McKenzie missed two games to compete with the U.S. U-18 Men's National Team in Spain for a pair of friendlies against Belgium and Russia. They returned to play off the bench in the win over Virginia Tech.

Opponent And Series History
• Wake Forest leads the series against Elon, 8-4-1. The Phoenix, though, have claimed the last four meetings and are one of just two teams the Deacs have a four-game skid against (Stanford).
• Elon enters with a 4-3-6 overall record, snapping an eight-game winless streak by defeating Northeastern, 4-0, on Saturday. Tuki Tayali leads Elon with four goals.

On Deck
• Wake Forest hits the road for the last time in the regular season, traveling to Boston College on Saturday at 6 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
