Ejiofor Named Bednarik Player of the Week

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest redshirt senior defensive end Duke Ejiofor has been named the Chuck Bednarik Player of the Week for his outstanding defensive play against Florida State.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by the Maxwell Football Club.
Ejiofor, a 6-4, 275-pound redshirt senior from Houston, Texas (Alief Taylor) had a career-high eight tackles against Florida State. Ejiofor added 3.5 tackles for loss totaling 17 yards and a seven yard sack. He forced a fumble and recorded a quarterback hurry.
This week, Ejiofor ranks second in the ACC with 10.5 tackles for loss on the season.
