
Deacs Continue Play in California

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. – The Wake Forest women's golf team continued play Monday with the second round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at the Palos Verdes Country Club. The Demon Deacons have individuals competing at the event, the first tournament of the spring for the squad.
Senior Sierra Sims had a 6-over round of 77 on Monday and is at 11-over for the tournament. Junior Erica Herr is at 13-over for the tournament after a second round 80. Sophomore Jennifer Kupcho, the nation's top ranked player, had to withdraw from the event after the first round.
The tournament concludes Tuesday at the Palos Verdes Country Club.
