
Deacs Conclude Play in Palos Verdes

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. – The Wake Forest women's golf team concluded play at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge Tuesday with the final round at the Palos Verdes Country Club. The Demon Deacons had individuals competing at the event, the first tournament of the spring for the squad.
Senior Sierra Sims had a 1-over round of 72 on Tuesday and to finish 12-over for the tournament. Junior Erica Herr finished at 17-over for the tournament after a final round 75. Sophomore Jennifer Kupcho, the nation's top ranked player, had to withdraw from the event after the first round.
The Demon Deacons return to action March 3-5 with the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C.
