WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest head women's soccer coach Tony da Luz announced the addition of Hulda Arnarsdottir on Wednesday, bringing the 2017 signing class to six members. She joins the previously announced group of Hannah Betfort, Ryanne Brown, Emily Hull, Abby McNamara and Sofia Rossi.
"We have been looking forward to signing this class for a long time," da Luz said. "This is one of the most talented groups we have ever recruited to Wake Forest. They all have the athleticism, technical ability and soccer IQ to make an immediate impact in our program. Our biggest priority was to find goal-scorers and we have addressed that. These players have made a major impact on every team they have played for. I have no doubt that they will do the same at Wake Forest."

She brings international experience having represented Iceland at the Youth National Team level and takes a very serious approach to competition. Our fans will love watching her play and getting to know her infectiously positive personality. She is a true threat to score goals and will significantly improve our attack. We are ecstatic that she has joined our family for Fall 2017."
