GREENSBORO, N.C. – Two members of the Wake Forest women's golf team were honored Thursday as the 2017 All-ACC team was announced by the conference. Sophomore Jennifer Kupcho and senior Sierra Sims were among the 15 players selected to the team.

Kupcho was named All-ACC for the second consecutive season. She has posted three victories in 2016-17, including at this week's NCAA Athens Regional where she qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual. Her 70.39 scoring average is on pace to break the single season school record by nearly three strokes while she has posted seven top-five finishes. Her current streak of 12 consecutive rounds under par is a school record.

Sims was named All-ACC for the second time, also having been honored in 2015. Her scoring average of 72.20 this year eclipsed the previous school record of 73.09 that she set two seasons prior. Sims had seven top-10 finishes in 2016-17, finishing at or under par in six events. She concluded her Demon Deacon career with a school record career scoring average of 73.66.

Kupcho will conclude the 2016-17 season for the Demon Deacons later this month as she competes at the 2017 NCAA Championships. The tournament will run May 19-22 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.
