Deacs Head to Charlotte for ACC Football Kickoff

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- As the Demon Deacons prepare for their Thursday, Aug. 31, season-opener against Presbyterian, head coach Dave Clawson, tight end Cam Serigne and defensive lineman Wendell Dunn head to Charlotte for the 2017 ACC Football Kickoff on Thursday, July 13. The 2017 Kickoff begins on Thursday with the the Demon Deacons and the rest of the Atlantic Division schools while the Coastal Division concludes the two-day Kickoff at the Westin in downtown Charlotte on Friday.
Coverage of the first day of the ACC Kickoff will be available on WatchESPN and theACC.com beginning at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the day. Clawson, Serigne and Dunn will appear for their press conference from approximately 3:21-3:50 p.m. Clawson will also appear live on the David Glenn Show at approximately 2:35 p.m.

Following the conclusion of the ACC Kickoff, the 2017 Preseason Media Poll will be announced on Monday, July 17, and the 2017 Preseason All-ACC Teams will be unveiled on Wednesday, July 19.
