WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. --The 2016-17 Wake Forest Athletics Year in Review has been released online and is available here.

The 42-page online publication includes recaps, highlights, photos and stories showcasing the successes of Demon Deacon teams, the achievements of Wake Forest student-athletes, the generosity of loyal donors, the progress of facility projects and many of the special moments and events experienced throughout the year.

The 2016-17 year was arguably one of the most successful in recent history. The Demon Deacons' overall record of 182-111-3 is the best in the last decade; eighty percent of Wake Forest teams finished with a winning record; three teams finished in the top 10 in their respective NCAA tournaments; and six teams achieved top 10 rankings during the regular season. Wake Forest was one of only three teams nationally to win a bowl game, receive a bid to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and play its way into a baseball Super Regional.

Wake Forest student-athletes also continued to excel in the classroom with 51% named to the ACC Honor Roll.

It was another record-breaking year for fundraising as well with an impressive total of $46,443,120 in new commitments, an 84% increase over the previous year.
