GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wake Forest freshman midfielder Brandon Servania was named the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday evening.
Servania broke onto the scene with eight points in his first two collegiate games.
In Friday's 5-1 win over Rutgers, Servania netted two goals, including the game-winner, and added a pair of assists for a six-point effort.
He followed that up with two more assists in a 4-1 victory over No. 12-ranked Providence on Sunday.
Servania is tied for the national lead in both points and assists, also ranking tied for 15th with his two goals.
No. 2-ranked Wake Forest has 12 assists as a team, two more than any other program in the country. With four assists, Servania has also matched the team-high from the 2016 season (three Deacs had four assists).
Servania shares the honor with North Carolina's Jelani Pieters, who tallied three goals and an assist in two games. Boston College's Younes Boudadi was named Defensive Player of the Week.
The Demon Deacons are back in action this weekend, traveling to Saint Louis on Saturday for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff (7 p.m. CT).
