The Matchup
• No. 2-ranked Wake Forest hits the road for the first time this season, traveling to take on Saint Louis on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT). The game will air online on the A-10 Network.
Last Time Out
• Wake Forest opened the season with a pair of big victories last weekend, taking down Rutgers by a 5-1 margin and No. 12 Providence, 4-1.
• Freshman Brandon Servania was named the ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer National Player of the Week. In his first two games, he totaled eight points on two goals and four assists, tallying two goals and two assists against Rutgers and adding two more assists against Providence.
• Jon Bakero added two goals and three assists over the weekend, while Luis Argudo scored twice and Justin McMaster notched two assists. Machop Chol, Logan Gdula and Kevin Politz also found the back of the net.
2016 Summary
• The Demon Deacons finished the 2016 season as the national runners-up, falling to Stanford in penalty kicks of the championship game, 5-4, after playing to a scoreless draw through 110 minutes of action. Wake Forest defeated Coastal Carolina, SIUE, Virginia Tech and Denver in the NCAA Tournament en route to the College Cup final.
• Wake Forest finished the season with a 19-3-3 overall record. The Deacs claimed both the ACC regular season and Tournament titles, finishing with a 5-1-2 ACC record and then taking down Notre Dame, Louisville and Clemson in the ACC Tournament.
• Ian Harkes won the MAC Hermann Trophy, and he was joined as a first team All-American by Jacori Hayes and Alec Ferrell.
Opponent And Series History
• Wake Forest and Saint Louis are meeting for just the third time in program history. The teams played to a 1-1 draw in 2002, and in the season-opener last year, the Billikens handed the Deacs their only home loss of the season, 1-0.
• Saint Louis head coach Mike McGinty is a 1995 alum of Wake Forest. He was an All-ACC goalkeeper and ranks third in program history with 255 saves. In 1991, he totaled nine shutouts and a 0.76 goals-against average, marks that rank in the top 10 all-time.
• SLU is coming off losses to No. 8 Syracuse (2-1 in OT) and No. 22 Michigan State (2-0) at home last weekend.

• Wake Forest returns home to play Georgia State on Tuesday before traveling to Louisville next weekend to open ACC play.
