Last year, it took the Deacs 18 games to reach 22 goals, compared to just eight this season.
Three Demon Deacons have already totaled at least 10 points after only four did so all last year: Jon Bakero (17 pts - 5g, 7a), Luis Argudo (11 pts - 5g, 1a), and Brandon Servania (11 pts - 2g, 7a). Bakero ranks third in the nation in points, and is tied for the national lead with Servania and North Carolina's Cam Lindley.
Bakero and defender Kevin Politz were named candidates for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award, two of just three selected in the ACC. Jacori Hayes won the award a season ago.
