The Matchup
• Wake Forest will take on Boston College on Sunday, Sept. 24 at the Newton Campus Soccer and Lacrosse Complex. The match is set for 1 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

Last Time Out
• The No. 18-ranked Demon Deacons recorded their seventh shutout of the season with a 1-0 victory over Syracuse on Sept. 22.
Hannah Betfort scored the game-winning goal in the 31st minute off a cross from Vicky Krug.
Lindsay Preston recorded her fourth solo shutout of the season after playing all 90 minutes and making three saves.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest women's soccer is nationally ranked for the first time since 2014 when the team began the season ranked No. 14 by Soccer America and No. 21 by the NSCAA. Currently, the Demon Deacons are ranked No. 17 by Soccer America and No. 18 by TopDrawerSoccer and the United Soccer Coaches Poll. The Deacs also debuted at No. 15 in the NCAA RPI this week.
• The Demon Deacons' offense is among the best in the conference. Through ten games, the Deacs lead the ACC with 66 points (22g, 22a). The 22 assists lead the league while the 22 goals are good for second, behind Duke with 24.
• The Deacs are currently 2-0 in conference play, matching their conference win total from the 2016 season.
• Wake Forest finished the 2016 slate with seven shutouts. The Demon Deacons have matched the 2016 shutout total with seven shutouts through ten games this season.

Scouting Boston College
• The Eagles hold a slight 7-6-0 advantage over the Demon Deacons in all-time series history and a 5-2-0 lead at Boston College.
• In the last meeting between the programs, Wake Forest defeated BC, 2-0, on Sept. 15, 2016 to pick up its first conference win of the season.
• The Eagles are 1-1-0 in conference play this season after defeating Louisville and falling to NC State. Most recently, Boston College dropped a 1-0 decision against No. 24 NC State in Raleigh.
• Redshirt senior Lauren Berman leads the Eagles in goals this season with five while sophomores Olivia Vaughn and Jenna Bike have four each. The Eagles have outscored opponents 8-3 in the last six games.
• Alexis Bryant holds all of the decisions in goal for Boston College. She has clocked over 980 minutes in goal this season and holds a .725 save percentage.

• The Deacs wrap-up their three-game road trip at Notre Dame on Sept. 29 and will return to Spry Stadium on Oct. 5 to take on Virginia Tech.
