Demon Deacons move up to No. 5 after Pre-Nationals performance

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's cross country team moved up the regional rankings after a strong performance at the Pre-Nationals meet on Saturday in Wisconsin. The Demon Deacons moved up five spots from No. 11 to No. 5 in the USTFCCCA Southeast Region rankings.
The Demon Deacons posted an 11th place finish in the White Race at the Pre-Nationals meet. That race featured nine of the top 30 teams nationally.
Wake Forest returns to action on October 26 at the ACC Championships in Boston.
