OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Wake Forest midfielder Brad Dunwell is one of 10 finalists for the 2018 men's soccer Senior CLASS Award, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The award recognizes seniors for their success in four areas: community, classroom, character and competition.

The next round includes fan voting. Fans can vote for Dunwell once a day by clicking HERE.

A four-year starter, Dunwell has started all 85 games since stepping on campus in 2015. Serving as the holding midfielder, he has totaled a goal and 14 assists in his career, including a pair of assists this season. Wake Forest has a 69-9-7 record over his four years, including trips to the NCAA quarterfinals each of his first three years and back-to-back ACC Championships.

Dunwell also serves as a team captain and has been a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee since January 2015.

He is a communications major in the classroom, and  has been voted to the ACC All-Academic Team each of his first three seasons one of just two current seniors in the ACC to accomplish that feat.

"Brad leads our team by example and gives 100 percent in everything he does," head coach Bobby Muuss said in his nomination. "He works to make others around him better both on the field and in life."

Dunwell is one of three finalists from the ACC, joined by North Carolina's Alex Comsia, Syracuse's Hendrik Hilpert and Louisville's Tate Schmitt.

Demon Deacons have taken the award home in back-to-back years and three times overall. Jon Bakero (2017), Jacori Hayes (2016) and Sam Cronin (2008) are Wake Forest's three winners.
