Seven Demon Deacons in action on Friday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest cross country teams will have individuals compete on Friday at the Winthrop/Adidas Invitational at Winthrop Farm in Rock Hill, S.C. The meet was originally scheduled for Sept. 15, but was postponed due to Hurricane Florence.
The Demon Deacons will not compete as a team at the meet, but will have four women and three men competing as individuals. Zoe Clay, Kaitlyn Derry, Kristen Haynes and Kathryn Kenwood will compete in the 5K women's race, while Andrew Magiera, Myers McKinney and Ben Mitchell will run in the 8K men's race.
The women's race will begin at 5:45 p.m., with the men's race to follow at 6:30 p.m.
