Volleyball Adds Four on Signing Day

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -Wake Forest volleyball and head coach Bill Ferguson announced the addition of four new signees on Thursday.

The Deacons added a setter in Michigan native Parker Kwiatkowski, Peyton Suess an outside hitter and right side from Kasson, Minn., Center Point, Iowa native Delaney McSweeney, a middle blocker and right side, and Zoe Gonzales, a middle blocker out of Longmont, Colo.

"We're thrilled to welcome Parker, Peyton, Delaney and Zoe to Wake Forest," head coach Bill Ferguson said. "We have been recruiting this group for over two years now and we can't wait to get them on campus and into the gym. This recruiting class comes to us with a ton of leadership, size and experience. They are winners. All four players come from high school and club programs with high level coaches"

"Parker is a leader and a competitor," Ferguson said. "She has trained at a very high level since she began playing. Parker is always in the gym and has a tremendous ability to read and feel the flow of the game. She'll graduate high school early and come to us in January."

"Delaney's tremendous length is obvious, but she has great feet and is a natural athlete," Ferguson said. "She came to our camp two summers ago and I immediately thought she would be great for us. Her rate of improvement over the past year has been enormous."
