WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest women's soccer four-year starter Ally Haran has signed a contract to play professionally for UMF Selfoss in Iceland.

The club competes in the Pepsi Deildin women's league, the top league in Iceland.

"We're very excited for Ally as she continues to establish her professional career with Selfoss," said head coach Tony da Luz. "We've spent some time in Iceland when we were recruiting Hulda Arnarsdottir and the level of play is really good. I have no doubt that Ally will make an immediate impact with the club."

A four-year letterwinner and two-year team captain, Haran started in 66 of 67 games played for the Demon Deacons, tallying an impressive 6,101 minutes of playing time. She was a consistent force in a backline that led to 28 shutouts, including 11 her senior season. Offensively she finished with four goals and three assists for 11 points.
