Young Named Honorable Mention All-American

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest junior golfer Cameron Young was named an honorable mention PING All-American on Thursday (June 21) as the Golf Coaches Association of America announced its Division I All-America teams. It is the first All-America honor of Young's career.
Young led the Demon Deacons with a 70.11 stroke average, the third-best in program history. An All-ACC and Academic All-ACC honoree, he had four top-5 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Stitch Intercollegiate. For the season, 22 of his 27 rounds were at par or better.
With the honor, Young becomes the 44th player in program history to be named an All-American.
