Kupcho Joins Five Alumnae at Marathon Classic

SYLVANIA, Ohio – Wake Forest rising senior Jennifer Kupcho is in action at this week's LPGA Tour event, the Marathon Classic in Toledo, Ohio. The event, which runs Thursday-Sunday at Highland Meadows Golf Club, annually gives an exemption into the field for the reigning NCAA Champion.
Kupcho, who is one of four amateurs in this year's field, is joined at the event by five Wake Forest alumnae competing on tour. Laura Diaz, Allison Emrey, Nannette Hill, Olafia Kristinsdottir and Cheyenne Woods are also at this year's Marathon Classic, setting a school record of six Demon Deacons in a LPGA field.
Golf Channel will have tape delay coverage of Thursday and Friday's play each evening and have live coverage of the tournament on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
