GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Four Demon Deacons were picked to the All-ACC Academic Men's Soccer Team, the league announced on Thursday morning.
Wake Forest's selections included senior Brad Dunwell, junior Alistair Johnston, sophomore Omir Fernandez and freshman Aristotle Zarris.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
Dunwell, a communication major, was one of just three student-athletes in the league to earn the award for the fourth-straight season. The Houston Dynamo draft selection was a second team All-ACC pick and second team All-American, and started all 85 games of his Wake Forest career.
Johnston, studying economics, made a smooth transition in his first season since transferring from St. John's. He played in all 21 games off the bench and totaled 11 points on three goals and five assists, also scoring a pair of game-winners.
Fernandez, who recently signed a homegrown deal with the New York Red Bulls, earned the ACC Offensive Player of the Year honors. He tied for the ACC lead with 30 points, totaling 12 goals and six assists as well as an ACC-high five game-winning goals.
Zarris, an ACC All-Freshman Team selection, totaled 15 points on five goals and five assists in his rookie campaign. He played in 20 games and started 13 of them, most of any Deacon freshman.
Wake Forest's four selections were the third-most in the ACC. Duke led the way with seven honorees, followed by Syracuse with five.
