Wake Forest will host Louisville in its ACC home opener on Saturday, October 12 at BB&T Field with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. The Deacons are coming off a bye week and are 5-0 (1-0 ACC) on the season following a 27-24 win at Boston College on Sept. 28. Wake Forest is ranked No. 20 in the Amway Coaches Poll and No. 22 in the Associated Press poll and will be playing at BB&T Field as a ranked team for the first time since 2008.
Louisville is off to a 3-2 start (1-1 ACC) under new head coach Scott Satterfield, who took over the Cardinals this season after six seasons leading Appalachian State. The Cardinals snapped a nine-game ACC losing streak with a 41-39 home win over Boston College on Saturday.
The Demon Deacons have won the last two meetings between the teams, a 42-32 victory at BB&T Field in 2017 and a 56-35 win at Louisville last season.
Be sure to arrive early for Saturday's contest. The "I'm A Fan" Zone will open at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. This week's live band is The "B" String Allstars.
