Wake Forest freshman Calvin Harris scored twice at No. 25 Louisville to earn the honor.
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Wake Forest freshman forward Calvin Harris was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Harris scored twice Friday to lead No. 7 Wake Forest past No. 25 Louisville on the road, 3-1. It was Harris' second multi-goal game of the season.
Both goals, including what proved to be the game-winner, came in the opening 25 minutes of the game to give the Demon Deacons a commanding lead over the Cardinals.
This season, Harris ranks second on the team with six goals and three game-winning goals.
"Calvin delivered one of his best performances of the season Friday," head coach Bobby Muuss said. "He has taken ownership of his starting role the last few weeks. His efforts at Louisville helped us close the regular season with a big win and send us into the postseason on a high note."
Wake Forest enters the ACC Championship with the No. 3 seed and will play the winner of No. 6 Louisville and No. 11 Virginia Tech. Wake Forest's quarterfinal game will be played Sunday at 5 p.m. on ACC Network.
