The morning started early for Director of Athletics John Currie, Coach Dave Clawson as well as Cade Carney, Justin Herron and Justin Strnad. They suited up and drove down to the Financial District.
After a tour in and around the New York Stock Exchange, the Demon Deacons had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They reopened the market, ringing the opening bell for the NYSE. Following that opportunity, Coach Clawson spoke on Fox Business and Cheddar about the experience and the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

Once back at the hotel, the team continued to prepare for the bowl game with meetings before the players got their first glimpse of Yankee Stadium.
Riding over before the team, Coach Clawson had a pre-game press conference alongside of Michigan State Coach Mark Dantonio.
From there, Coach Clawson met the rest of the team as they got to check out their locker room. The Deacs will be coming out of the first base locker room, the home locker room of the New York Yankees.
The players and coaches took the short walk out to the dugout and onto the field. Wake Forest got a look at the surroundings including a chance to check out Monument Park, which is enshrined with Yankee legends like Derek Jeter, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.
