Men's Basketball to Open 2019-20 Season at Boston College

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wake Forest will open the 2019-20 season at Boston College, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Friday (Mar. 15). The conference, in conjunction with ESPN, released the schedule for the season-openers as ACC schools will open the year with their first of 20 conference games.
The Wake Forest at Boston College game is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 6, and will air on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Other season-opening ACC games are Virginia Tech at Clemson, Louisville at Miami, Georgia Tech at NC State, Notre Dame at North Carolina, Florida State at Pitt, and Virginia at Syracuse. Duke will open the season with the Champions Classic.
The ACC will feature a 20-game conference schedule for the first time in 2019-20. The Demon Deacons will play Boston College twice, along with Clemson, Duke, North Carolina, NC State and Notre Dame. They will play Florida State, Georgia Tech, Virginia and Virginia Tech only at home, and Louisville, Miami, Pitt and Syracuse only on the road. The dates for the remaining 19 conference games will be released by the conference at a later date.
