WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's soccer program will once again be taking part in the United Soccer Coaches' Open Training Week, which is set for the week of April 1-7.
The Demon Deacons' open session will be held on Wednesday, April 3, from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. at the Spry Stadium training fields.
Now in its third year, this nationwide initiative provides an opportunity for coaches from all levels and backgrounds to experience new environments, observe high-level training sessions, and learn from one another. Men's and women's teams at the college and professional levels will welcome local soccer coaches in their communities to attend a practice with the goal of uniting coaches around the love of the game.
Area coaches can register to attend Wake Forest's open session by clicking HERE.
Wake Forest is led by head coach Bobby Muuss, the first coach in ACC men's soccer history to earn ACC Coach of the Year honors in four-consecutive seasons. The Deacs finished 2018 with an 18-3-0 overall record and claimed the program's fourth-straight ACC Atlantic Division crown.
