Darren Ford Named to NFF Hampshire Society

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest placekicker Darren Ford was named to the Hampshire Society by the National Football Foundation.
The Hampshire Society recognizes college football seniors who have achieved a 3.2 grade point average or higher throughout their undergraduate study and have been starters or significant contributors throughout the most recent football season.
Ford, a graduate transfer from Hope College, was Wake Forest's starter as the team's kickoff specialist in 2018. He handled 65 kickoffs, averaging 60.7 yards per kickoff with 28 touchbacks.
Ford maintained both an undergraduate and graduate GPA in excess of 3.6. He is studying sustainability in his master's program at Wake Forest after graduating from Hope with a double major in economics and business management.
