Football Fan Fest Set for Saturday, August 17

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The 2019 Wake Forest Football Fan Fest, presented by Wake Forest Baptist Health, will be held Saturday, Aug. 17 at BB&T Field. Admission and parking to the event is free of charge.
Fan Fest will be held from 5:30-7:00 pm and will be a great opportunity to meet the coaches and players of Wake Forest's fall sports teams. The football, field hockey and volleyball teams will be available for autographs and photos at the event. Fans will also be able to enjoy a food truck, Kona Ice and concessions for purchase as well.
The Wake Forest football team, looking to build on three straight bowl victories, will be introduced at 6:00 pm. Gates open at 5:30 with parking available in the Gold Lot and entrance through the Gate 1 under McCreary Tower.
"Anytime we have the opportunity to engage with our fans on a personal level is a great day. Our team enjoys this event every year and seeing the excitement in the faces of our supporters. We look forward to seeing everyone at BB&T Field on August 17th," said Wake Forest head football coach Dave Clawson.
Demon Deacon fans of all ages are encouraged to attend Fan Fest. Other activities will include inflatable games, a balloon artist and special appearances by the Demon Deacon and the Wake Forest spirit squad. In addition, I'm A Fan yard signs, stickers, promotional posters, schedules and more will be available for fans to pick up as well.
Fan Fest will also feature Select-Your-Seat, which allows fans to reserve their season tickets for the 2019 football season. Some of the best remaining seats at BB&T Field will be available for purchase, and ticket representatives will be on hand to assist fans.
Immediately following Fan Fest at 7:00 pm, fans are encouraged to get their first look at the Wake Forest women's soccer team in an exhibition against Florida at Spry Stadium. The Deacons are coming off a 2018 season that saw them advance to the NCAA Round of 16. Admission to the soccer match is free.
