Next Home Game: Deacons Host Tar Heels on Sept. 13

Wake Forest, 2-0 after a 41-21 win at Rice on Friday, Sept. 6, will now focus all of its attention on its next opponent, North Carolina. The Tar Heels enter the game 2-0 after a season-opening win over South Carolina and a 28-25 win over Miami on Sept. 7.
Wake Forest is riding a string of four straight games with 500 or more yards of total offense. The Demon Deacons have started the year with a 2-0 record for the fourth consecutive season.
The rivalry, which dates back to 1888 and stands as the first football game played in North Carolina, will kickoff for the 107th time at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 13. Demon Deacon fans have the opportunity to wear their sentiments as the contest has been designated as a Wear Black game.
