Deacs Extend Lead at Lady Paladin Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Wake Forest women's golf team extended its lead at the Lady Paladin Invitational during the second day of play at the Furman University Golf Course. The Demon Deacons shot 1-over, the low round of the day, to finish the day at 1-under and hold a nine-shot lead.
Wake Forest is the only team under par through 36 holes, as host Furman is in second at 8-over. North Florida is third at 16-over.
"We continued to play well in conditions that make it difficult to score," said head coach Kim Lewellen. "We have had contributions from all five players over the first two rounds to show our depth."
Emilia Migliaccio shot 2-under on Saturday for the low round of the day for the Deacs. She is T-10th at 1-over for the tournament. Siyun Liu is T-2nd at 2-under after a round of 75, while Lauren Walsh is T-4th at 1-under after a round of 73.
Rachel Kuehn shot 73 on Saturday to finish the day T-16th at 3-over, while Letizia Bagnoli shot 73 to finish the day at 5-over.
