Alex Bachman makes NFL debut while Kevin Johnson leads Cleveland to a win over Bengals.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - This week in the NFL, Wake Forest had several notable performances from Demon Deacon alumni.
Jessie Bates III and Kevin Johnson faced off in Cincinnati, while Alex Bachman made his professional debut on Thursday night. Kyle Wilber also logged a pair of tackles for the Raiders in their matchup versus Tampa Bay.
Bachman Makes NFL Debut in Philadelphia
Alex Bachman was promoted to the Giants' active roster ahead of New York's Thursday night clash with the Eagles. After spending time on both the Los Angeles Rams and Giants practice squads last year before being called up to the 53-man roster for the divisional clash.
Johnson Leads Browns Over Bengals
In the Battle for Ohio, it was a #ProDeacs matchup that ended in Kevin Johnson and Cleveland defeating Jessie Bates III and the Bengals. Both defenders made three tackles, while Johnson also recorded 0.5 sacks en route to the 37-34 victory.
