Bassey shows out for Broncos in Atlanta while Haynes and Looney return to the field.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The NFL season has now entered the back half of its slate.
This week in the NFL, there was a #ProDeacs matchup in Los Angeles between Kyle Wilber's Raiders and Nathan Gilliam's Chargers, with the Raiders coming away with a 31-26 victory.
In addition, Essang Bassey had a solid showing in the Broncos' road contest in Atlanta.
Bassey Has Strong Performance Versus Falcons
In the Broncos' Sunday matchup in Atlanta, Essang Bassey recorded four solo tackles, his second highest total of the season.
This continues a productive rookie campaign for Bassey, which has seen him register 16 total tackles in six games. In games that he has recorded stats, the Broncos have a better record (3-3) than games where he did not play (0-2).
Haynes and Looney Activated from Injured Reserve
After dealing with injuries during the front half of the season, both Joe Looney of the Cowboys and Phil Haynes of the Seahawks are returned from injured reserve this week.
Looney stated in the Cowboys game against the Steelers while Haynes is back on the practice field in Seattle.
