Demon Deacons Ink Three on National Signing Day

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest men's golf team will add three new faces for the 2021-22 year. Scotty Kennon, Marshal Meisel, and Collin Adams will be joining the Deacs next year.
"We are very excited for these guys to join our program next fall; they all bring something different to the table and will be great competitors. I know they're excited and will represent the old gold and black to the highest standard. The future of Wake Forest golf is very bright!" said head coach Jerry Haas.

Coach Haas on Scotty –
"From the moment we met Scotty we knew Wake Forest would be a great fit for him. He lists Maya Angelou as his favorite poet! He finished second at the Western Junior and the Players Junior. He's a two-time AJGA All-American. He chose Wake Forest because of the combination of high academics and competitive golf. He is a very fundamentally sound golfer and will only get better. We're excited to see what he can do."

"Collin is currently the second ranked player in the state of North Carolina. He's not afraid to make a lot of birdies and shoot low scores. He is probably one of the best ball strikers we've recruited and has blossomed so beautifully later in his junior career. We have watched him for a long time and are excited about the future."
