Wake Forest Updates Men’s Basketball Non-Conference Schedule

Schedule and broadcast information has been finalized for the Mako Medical Wake Forest Classic.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Steve Forbes era of Wake Forest men's basketball will tip off on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. against Delaware State on the opening day of the Mako Medical Wake Forest Classic. The season opener will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
The Demon Deacons will conclude the classic on Friday, Nov. 27 with the Deacs matchup with Longwood at 7 p.m. inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This contest will be broadcast live on ACC Network.
Longwood and Delaware State will play at 12 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day inside Joel Coliseum.
"Wake Forest Athletics is grateful for the flexibility and partnership of the programs involved in the Mako Medical Wake Forest Classic, and the rest of our current men's basketball non-conference opponents," Director of Athletics John Currie said. "With everyone agreeing to the ACC health and safety protocols, we are excited to provide our student-athletes with competition as we get the 2020-21 season underway."
Following the Mako Medical Wake Forest Classic, Wake Forest will host Troy on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. on ACC Network.
The Demon Deacons final pre-Atlantic Coast Conference prep will come on Sunday, Dec. 13 against Presbyterian inside LJVM Coliseum at 6 p.m. Wake Forest opens ACC play on Wednesday, Dec. 16 against Virginia.
Currently, the final non-conference contest for Wake Forest will take place on Monday, Dec. 21 against Virginia Military Institute (VMI) inside the Joel.

Fan Information
Given the increasing rate of COVID-19 infections throughout North Carolina, Wake Forest will not host fans inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum for its upcoming home men's and women's basketball contests in November.
This decision does not affect Wake Forest's two upcoming football games at Truist Field.
If fans are able to attend future Wake Forest basketball contests, tickets will be sold on an individual game basis only.
Tickets Process for Future Home Games
This procedure is being finalized and will be shared in the coming weeks as fan capacities are determined.
The priority process will be based on the following guiding principles:
Additionally, tickets will be distributed in seating clusters generally ranging from 2-6 tickets, with only tickets purchased from one account included in each cluster. Ticket holders are required to sit in their reserved seats and may not interact with fans located in other seating clusters while in the seating bowl.
Information regarding student tickets will be shared prior to the start of the spring semester.
Deacon Virtual Season Ticket
For the thousands of subscribers that have seen the benefits throughout Wake Forest's football season thus far, a basketball-specific version of the Deacon Virtual Season Ticket will be offered for the Deacs men's and women's basketball season as well.
Fans who purchase the basketball DVST will also be able to enjoy access to the exclusive content for the remainder of the 2020 football season.
For fans who have yet to opt-in to this one-of-a-kind program, details are below.

Demon Deaclone Fan Cutouts
With an expected limited capacity this season due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, fan cutouts will also be available for contests at Lawrence Joel Veteran's Memorial Coliseum. Cutouts are on sale now at GoDeacs.com/cutout.
Fans who purchase cutouts will get the chance to take their cutout home at the end of the season or if it is cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All will be authenticated as game-used by Wake Forest, and fans who purchase will receive a photo of their cutout location inside LJVM Coliseum.
