Kennedy becomes the eighth member of Wake Forest’s latest signing class, as he’ll join the Demon Deacons following a stint with Orlando City B.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest men's soccer has added Julian Kennedy to the 2021 signing class. Kennedy spent this past season with Orlando City B of the United Soccer League (USL).
"We are thrilled to be able to add a player of Julian's caliber to our 2021 recruiting class," said associate head coach Dane Brenner. "Julian is a versatile attacking player that we believe has a bright future in our program. He has a knack for scoring goals and is a quality dynamic addition to our program.
"We are fortunate that Julian will be coming to our program in January and cannot wait to see all that this young man has to offer."
In eight appearances with Orlando City B, Kennedy created six changes and logged an assist. He joined the side from the Orlando City Academy.
Kennedy is the eighth member of this year's No. 3 nationally ranked signing class, joining Babacar Niang, Ryan Fessler, Bo Cummins, Roald Mitchell, Trace Alphin, Leo Guarino and Nicolas Mancilla. The staff is continuing to work hard to finalize the class in the next few months.
