Wake Forest - Syracuse Men’s Basketball Game Postponed

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest - Syracuse men's basketball game set for Wednesday, Dec. 30 has been postponed, and will not be played next week. Both institutions will work with the Atlantic Coast Conference to monitor dates throughout the season to potentially make up the game.
"John Wildhack called me to let me know of their pause following their recent non-conference opponents' testing results," said Wake Forest Director of Athletics John Currie. "I know they were disappointed, as are we, that they cannot make the trip but based on the circumstances it is the right decision. We are already discussing options for rescheduling with the ACC and also looking for a non-conference opponent to potentially play next week."
Our next scheduled game is Sunday, Jan. 3 at Georgia Tech. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network and will tip off at 6 p.m.
Adjusted game dates and times will be communicated as they are finalized.
