Demon Deacons Return Home to Face Notre Dame Thursday

Wake Forest will be in search of their ninth home victory of the season and fifth in ACC play
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team returns home to the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum to play Notre Dame Thursday night.
The Demon Deacons (12-10, 5-6 ACC) will be looking to get back to .500 in league play and grab their first ever victory against Notre Dame. In the past two games, Alex Sharp has recorded a double-double in each.
The Fighting Irish (8-14, 3-7 ACC) have four players who are averaging better than 12.5 points per game including a pair of freshmen. Forward Sam Brunelle leads the team with 13.9 points per game to go along with 6.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.
Tipoff for Thursday night's game against the Fighting Irish is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ET) at LJVM Coliseum. The game can also be seen on ACCNX.

With 23 assists in the last four games games, Gina Conti now has 116 assists on the season and is averaging 5.3 assists per game.
The Grove City, Ohio native now ranks 18th in the nation in total assists and 24th in the country in assists per game.
She needs just 13 assists to move into seventh in program history in assists.
