Five Deacons to Play in NWSL Challenge Cup

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The National Women's Soccer League begins the 2020 Challenge Cup this weekend in Utah with five former Deacons participating.

Aubrey Bledsoe ('13) and Bayley Feist ('18) will both be playing for Washington Spirit and Katie Stengel ('13) will be playing for Houston Dash. Mariah Lee ('18) and Madison Hammond ('19) recently signed contracts with OL Reign, formerly Seattle Reign.

All games will be streamed live on CBS All-Access. Qualifying games begin on Saturday, June 27, and will be played through Monday, July 13. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be July 17, 18, and 22. The championship game will be on July 26 and streamed live on CBS and CBS All-Access.
