The sophomore tallied three points against Louisville in the Demon Deacons’ season-opening victory over the Cardinals.
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Following a season-opening performance in which he tallied a goal and an assist, Wake Forest sophomore Calvin Harris has been named ACC Co-Offensive Player of the Week the league has announced. Harris shares the award with Pitt's Bertin Jacquesson.
This the second time Harris has earned the weekly honor, also doing so last November.
In Wake Forest's season-opening 3-1 victory over Louisville on Friday night, the Middlesbrough, England, native created the scoring chance for senior Machop Chol on his goal in the fifth minute.
Then in the 35th minute, Harris scored a beautiful game-winning goal when he struck at the top of the 18-yard box. The effort marks the first three-point game of his Wake Forest career.
