Raca Garners ACC Player of the Week Honors

The senior forward posted a pair of double-double performances in the Deacs two victories this past weekend.
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Wake Forest women's basketball senior forward Ivana Raca was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Raca posted a double-double performances in home wins over Miami and Boston College, averaging 19.0 points and 12.5 rebounds. She had a team-high and game-high in points and rebounds in both wins this week.
In the win over Miami, she pulled down a career-best 14 boards including with four offensive and 10 defensive rebounds. 16 of her 22 points in the win over Miami came in the second half to close out the victory over the Hurricanes.
During conference play she is averaging 10.0 rebounds per game, which is third in the conference.
With 38 total points this week, she moved from 20th to 15th on the Wake Forest all-time scoring list and currently has 1,214 career points.
