Running back Christian Turner played 14 games at Michigan, running for 270 yards on 64 carries, while wide receiver Casey Washington pulled in 21 receptions in his two seasons at Illinois.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest football team bolstered their offensive attack with the additions of transfer running back Christian Turner and wide receiver Casey Washington for the 2021 season.
Turner, a two-time letterwinner at Michigan, played in 14 games during his time in Ann Arbor and totaled 64 carries for 270 yards and one touchdown. Academically, Turner was enrolled in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts, majoring in general studies at Michigan. At Wake Forest, he plans to pursue a degree in communication,
Washington, a two-time letterwinner at Illinois, played in 18 games during his time in Champaign and totaled 21 receptions for 238 yards. Academically, Washington was majoring in recreation, sport and tourism at Illinois and will enter Wake Forest as a true sophomore with an undeclared major.
