Emrey Earns LPGA Tour Card with Top-10 Symetra Finish

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Former Wake Forest women's golfer and WGCA All-American Allison Emrey has earned her Tour card for the LPGA Tour 2022 season.
 
Emrey earned her first Symetra Tour victory in 2021 on her way to an eighth-place finish for the year in the Symetra Tour standings. The top 10 individuals at the end of each season earn their card for the following LPGA season. The 2022 LPGA season will begin in January.
 
Emrey, a 2015 graduate of Wake Forest, earned her degree in Computer Science and has been competing on the Symetra and LPGA Tour circuits since the fall of 2015. She competed for the Deacs from the fall of 2011 through the spring of 2015.
 
Emrey currently holds the No. 14 spot on the season scoring average list, as she finished her senior year with a 73.26 average. She is also 10th all-time in career scoring average, with a career average of 75.42 over 116 rounds. She was a 2015 All-ACC selection, 2014 and 2015 Academic All-ACC honoree and 2015 WGCA All-America Honorable Mention.
