Nine Deacs Set to Compete at Royals Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wake Forest will send nine to compete at the Royals Challenge hosted by Queens University of Charlotte on Friday night at McAlpine Creek Park.
The women's gold 5k will start at 5:00 p.m. and the men's gold will begin at 5:30 p.m. The meet is open to the public and admission is free.
Alli Boehm, Zoe Clay and Clarkson Graham will represent Wake Forest women's XC as Brent Bailey, Jack Dailey, John LePino, Vincent Loftis, Niall Ryan and Archie Wallis are set to compete for the men.
LAST TIME OUT
Graduate Carolien Millenaar picked up her first Demon Deacon win as the Wake Forest women's cross country team earned their first victory of the season at the Chanticleer Challenge.
The Deacs women had eight finishers place in the top 16, collecting 25 points to secure the team victory.
Wake Forest's first place finish (25) edged out Elon (58), Charleston Southern (104), Campbell and College of Charleston (119) in the top five.
