WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Tickets are available to the entire Winston-Salem community and soccer fans from around the state as the Demon Deacons host Harvard on Sunday in the first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament at 1 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now for reserved chairback seats at midfield for $15.00 (all ages), bleacher general admission seats are $8 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under, and seats on Walt Chyzowych Alumni Hill are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. The first 100 students who claim tickets via their Screamin' Demon Rewards app will be admitted free, while all other students will be admitted for only $5 by presenting their Deacon OneCard at the Spry Stadium ticket offices.
The Demon Deacons (15-5, 6-4 ACC) are hosting the first round for the third time since 2017. It is the Deacons' 21st overall appearance in the NCAA tournament.
"I am really proud of the group," head coach Tony da Luz said on Monday after the NCAA bracket was announced. "This team has proved that we can beat anyone in the country. In the last four games we have reached a higher level of performance. I am happy for the players to play at Spry again, especially this senior group. Harvard is a tough opponent; I have watched them throughout the season and they have a lot of good players. We are going to have our hands full but our preparation these last couple of games is going to help us down the stretch."
Tickets can be purchased in advance online at GoDeacs.com/Tickets or by calling the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336.758.3322.
Last time out, the Demon Deacons lost a heartbreaker to No. 2 Florida State, 2-1 (OT), in the ACC Championships semifinals after upsetting then-No. 2 Duke in the First Round of the ACC Tournament.
